Bell Tower North Cemetery in Warsaw

2012. The construction of a huge bell tower at the parish church of St. Peter’s. The company is based in St. Ignatius Loyola, Warsaw. We are faced with the exceptionally difficult challenge of completing a clinker facade on a bell tower several dozen meters high, on which five huge bells are to be hung. For generations, bell towers at churches have been an essential part of the sacred architectural composition of churches. Their high-pitched bells were meant to summon parishioners to services every day, but also to call for help at difficult times, for which their height was so important. Individual cities competed fiercely for possession of the tallest bell tower, sparing no effort or resources to build them. Unfortunately, a peculiar feature of all bell towers is the need to cope with enormous dynamic forces acting perpendicular to the main structure. Vibrations and vibrations caused by the ringing of bells have been a major cause of construction disasters since the Middle Ages. Correctly designing and building a bell tower that would last for centuries was quite a challenge for their builders. Of course, no less had the selection of the highest quality building materials.
